Fall is here again and we are so excited. Whether you just moved to the area or you’re a long-time resident, there are plenty of fun ways to spend your days as the temperatures start to cool down. Below are just a few of our favorite fall events in our area:

La Verne Fresh – Old Town La Verne Certified Farmers Market

Date: Every Saturday

Time: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Location: Corner of D Street and Third Street, south of Bonita Avenue

La Verne Fresh is a weekly farmers market that takes place every Saturday morning in Old Town La Verne. With an emphasis on fresh produce, the market features a variety of fruits and vegetables as well as specialty foods, hand-crafted goods, and fresh flowers and plants. This is a family-friendly event, so enjoy local merchants and live music with the kids each Saturday morning in La Verne.

Taste of Glendora

Date: Saturday, November 18

Time: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Location: Glendora City Hall

If you and your family love to stay active, you won’t want to miss the Taste of Glendora. This free, family-friendly group bike ride features pit stops at some of Glendora’s tasty local eateries to sample food and win raffle prizes. Families should bring their bicycles and helmets to check-in at 11:00 a.m. The ride leaves at 11:30 a.m. and returns to Glendora City Hall at 1:00 p.m. To register for the event, visit www.tasteofglendora.eventbrite.com. Downtown Holiday Extravaganza in San Dimas

Date: Saturday, December 2

Time: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Location: Walker House and Bonita Avenue – San Dimas

Bring the whole family down to San Dimas for a fun-filled day at the Downtown Holiday Extravaganza. The festivities start at noon with a fun and cheery holiday parade. This is followed by a range of fun family activities on Bonita Avenue that include a skating rink, hayride, carnival games, dueling snow slides, food trucks, vendors, and live music. End the evening with a tree lighting ceremony that is sure to get you in the holiday spirit. For more information, visit www.cityofsandimas.com.

Winter Wonderland in La Verne

Date: Saturday, December 9

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Location: Heritage Park

Winter Wonderland in La Verne is a great event for families with children 12 years and under. Children can experience snow runs and playlands with real snow as well as arts and crafts, snacks, and a visit with the man himself – Santa! Be sure to dress your children for snow and bring your cameras for a variety of fun photo opportunities. Tickets are $10 per child if bought before Thursday, December 7 and $15 per child at the event. This includes snow play, snacks, crafts, and a visit with Santa.
